This can be a picture of one of many parking strips in entrance of my home. Through the Covid lockdown I eliminated all of my grass and put in drip irrigation and largely pollinator vegetation. The pink flowers are gaura (Oenothera lindheimeri, Zone 5 – 9) and Penstemon digitalis (Zone 3 – 8).
The parking strip in summer time. A crimson rose blooms with a blue salvia that appears like Salvia uliginosa (Zone 6 – 9)
I’m very fortunate to have very good soil as a result of I stay on a creek that used to flood through the winter earlier than it was cemented in. Just about all the things grows.
My entrance yard. I like to gather previous picket chairs and paint them
My entrance yard from the road with all the things overgrown

An array of good pink roses.
Cheerful marigolds (Tagetes patula, annual) lined with flowers.
