Who says you may’t have colourful flowers in a woodsy shade backyard? In Chanticleer’s shady Asian Woods, I noticed this floating bouquet of shiny zinnias, dahlias, sunflowers, and furry balls. Beautiful!
That is Half 5 of my go to to Chanticleer throughout the Philadelphia Space Fling final September. I noticed the water bowl on the best way to the restroom, which is disguised as a teahouse within the Asian Woods backyard.
Inside, one other lovely bouquet greeted me beside the sink.
Inexperienced Adirondacks mix in with a stand of inexperienced bamboo.
An almost overgrown stone stair leads right down to a country stone patio and picket bench overlooking a shallow creek — a shady hideaway.
Chanticleer doesn’t muddle up their gardens with plant labels, for which I’m grateful. As an alternative, they put laminated plant lists in artisan-crafted bins, every one distinctive to its backyard area. I notably just like the field within the Asian Woods.

The inside — completely charming
