Once we arrived, AP did her standard routine earlier than getting out. She checks her pockets, cellphone, pen, snack, drink (not alcoholic—too early for her) and makes positive she has every part she thinks she’ll want. We don’t need to waste treasured nursery time having to go get one thing we left within the van.
I’m already getting out after I discover AP shouldn’t be shifting.
“I can’t discover my bank card,” she says.
I believe, Oh, crap! She’s left it at Freedom Nursery…
“I will need to have left it on the final place,” she says.
As a result of Freedom Nursery was not on our itinerary, we didn’t have already got its contact info. Tech-geniuses that we’re, it takes us fifteen minutes to discover a cellphone quantity, after which after I name, the man answering doesn’t communicate English.
I get him to know “bank card” and he places collectively why I’m calling.
“Sure,” he says, “bank card is right here.”
Oh good. However oh brother, now now we have to go get it…
So we buckle up once more and hearth up the van—me wishing now it was not too early for alcohol—and we drive the total hour it takes to get again to Freedom Nursery.
Lastly, with AP’s renegade bank card safely again in her pockets, we head for Succulent Gardens the second time. However by now the visitors is far worse, and it takes us an hour and a-half to get there.
Thank gawd I can report that this nursery is nicely value ALL of that! It has absolutely the good climate situations for rising succulents. Not too sizzling, not too chilly, off-shore breezes, days that start overcast (good for me!) and step by step turning to pleasant sunshine.
I’ve tried quite a few occasions to develop a succulent wall at my place like Succulent Gardens has…
